  1. One of the reservations I had as a child about “growing up.” Developing a dogmatic rather than open-minded approach to life. In short, having to pretend to be someone with answers rather than questions.

  2. Yun yi, as I said on Blog Catalogue, this reminds me of old battles with mother and father, forever saying that I would grow out of some notion or other I had once I had ‘matured’ a little more. Maturity, I responded, is just another name for your condescension and conceit. I was a terrible teen. I hope I never have a daughter quite like me. 🙂
